The University of Georgia is excited to welcome parents and families to the 2025 UGA Family Weekend. This special occasion showcases the vital role families play in our students’ success and provides a unique opportunity for loved ones to learn about campus life, experience UGA traditions, and make meaningful memories together. By the weekend’s close, our students and their families will be reminded of just how special the University of Georgia is.
UGA Family Weekend runs from November 6 through November 9 and will feature many planned sessions, including behind-the-scenes campus tours, informational meetings with faculty and staff, opportunities to cheer on our student-athletes, and so much more. These events are distributed throughout campus and prominently highlight what makes the University of Georgia one of the very best public institutions in the nation. Thanks to the support of UGA families, our students are able to take advantage of the University’s world-class learning environment as they pursue their goals and embrace their calling as future leaders throughout Georgia and beyond.
I am grateful to the staff in the Office of Parent and Family Engagement, the Division of Student Affairs, and all our campus partners who help support our students and enhance the vibrancy of our campus community through events like Family Weekend. I hope all of our families enjoy a weekend designed to celebrate the important role they play in their students’ lives, and I look forward to the continued success of UGA Family Weekend in the years ahead.
