Brandon Howard Young graduated this spring with a bachelor’s degree in management from the Terry College of Business.

A four-year letterman with the Georgia Bulldogs basketball team, Young is known for his diligence on the court and in the classroom. He was named the team’s most inspirational player two seasons in a row and received the UGA Athletic Association’s Joel Eaves Scholar-Athlete Award for earning the highest GPA of all male UGA student athletes.

Young is pursuing a master’s degree in sports management at UGA and is a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball team.

“Due to the generosity of private donors, I have benefitted firsthand from engaged faculty who have taught me invaluable lessons. That support also built one-of-a-kind facilities where I have had the opportunity to compete at a high level and find unique learning opportunities. Your generosity has helped me immeasurably.”
