The University of Georgia community joined together last week to celebrate an important milestone in our efforts to continue enhancing the learning environment for students. On Friday, we dedicated the second phase of the Terry College’s Business Learning Community (BLC), which includes Amos Hall, Benson Hall, and Moore-Rooker Hall. We also broke ground on the third and final phase of the BLC.
The BLC provides world-class facilities to prepare the next generation of business leaders. The second phase—which opened to students this semester—includes a capital markets lab, a music business lab, and other features to help teach students the critical skills needed to be successful in the world’s evolving economy.
When the final phase is complete, the entire project will have been funded by a 50-50 match of state and private dollars—a strong sign of the deep support that exists for our institution and its outstanding business program.
