The University of Georgia has made several enhancements to campus infrastructure and services for the academic year 2025-26. This fall, we proudly launched the new Creative Engagement Wing in the Miller Learning Center. The space is designed to equip students with 21st century skills and features a virtual reality model classroom, 3-D printer, and other cutting-edge tools and services that will foster creativity and innovation in UGA’s most-visited academic building.

With the continued growth of our campus community, over 1,800 new parking spaces have been added, along with new bus routes and new route names. These changes were made to support efficiency and to increase students’ access to core campus destinations. The UGA Bookstore also recently finished a major remodel over the summer that includes revamped areas for student textbooks, school supplies, dorm essentials, and technology.

Additionally, construction of the new first-year residence hall and the West Campus Dining, Learning, and Well-being Center is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2026. These additions highlight the University’s steadfast commitment to ensuring the success of our students and will serve as tremendous resources for our campus community.

I am extremely grateful for the continued support from our campus partners and loyal alumni and friends who are driving efforts to modernize and enhance the UGA experience for our students. The upgrades to our campus will continue to advance our teaching, research and service missions, and I look forward to the positive impact they will have on our University.
